In response to more sophisticated terrorist threats against airlines, the TSA- Travel Security Adminstration which is operated by the Department of Homeland Security has expanded it's airport security measures to include full body scanners and more intrusive "pat downs" for those passengers of concern. The goal is passenger safety of course, but what about expectations of privacy ? Many have expressed grave concerns about both the scanners and the pat downs and many stories have been reported of abuses. Do you have any experiences with the new measures ? Do you have any concerns ? Are you willing to present yourself to ever more personal searches in the name of security ? Or- have these measures crossed a line ? Has your family changed any of its travel plans as a result ?
